"Kakishibu dyeing" is a traditional dyeing technique that has been passed down since the Heian period more than 900 years ago. It is said that samurai and yamabushi wore reddish-brown clothes dyed with persimmon tannin during the Heian period. Due to its high bactericidal and deodorant effects, the cloth dyed with persimmon tannin, which was also used as a Chinese herbal medicine, changes color when exposed to sunlight and air and becomes deeper in color, so it is also called sun dyeing and has been dyed for a long time. We will continue to be close to the lives of Japanese people.

This "KAKISHIBU SASHIKO jacket" uses 14oz original sashiko selvedge denim that uses the Kakishibu dyed yarn by the traditional Japanese dyeing " Kakishibu dyeing" that nature produces on the weft yarn, and the Kase dyed maximum concentration indigo yarn for the warp yarn.

A stylish tailored jacket with selvedge in places has been completed. By driving in to the limit and weaving, the thick fabric with the original unevenness of sashiko is reproduced. The swelling of the thread and the thickness that can be seen in multiple layers make the expression even more unique to the sashiko fabric. The overlapping colors of persimmon astringency and indigo are "Japanese colors" that combine gentleness, depth, and elegance.
