PART-TIME SALES ASSOCIATE
Tempo Design Store in Lausanne is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate which will be essential during peak commercial days/hours. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and passionate about high-end independent retail, quality artisan / design brands, preservation of Japanese craft and culture, along with natural materials and techniques of production.
Responsibilities
Representing the store's philosophy
• Learning key information pertaining to the store philosophy, brands and products - taking notes and researching whenever necessary
• Communicating store's philosophy with the customers
• Dressing each day with a least a few items from the store
Sales
•Opening and closing the store on days of work
• Greeting customers and engaging in sales strategies
• Ringing-out customers and facilitaing pre-orders
• Updating the online inventory and uploadimg products to the website
• Communicating the store exchange policy to customers
Customer Service
• Helping customers with any questions, information, sizing, exchanges and pre-orders
• Answering customers through email
• Reporting exchanges, pre-orders or anything else to Store Manager
Store Maintenance
• POS operation and maintenance
• Keeping the store clean, organized and presentable
• Fulfilling online order and receiving mail
• Checking inventory and new packages
Qualifications
• Genuine motivation for working in a high-end design retail environment
• Knowledge and appreciation for independent design and craft brands
• Languages: Fluent in both written and spoken English and French
• 3 years minimum of previous retail experience
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, POS systems, Shopify
