These baker pants are based on off-white U.S.N. reproduction herringbone fabric, and have been dyed with indigo-green. The color created by the overlapping of two natural dyes, indigo and bayberry, results in a depth of hue that cannot be expressed with a single color. Through repeated dyeing and time, a unique, slightly greenish hue emerges. These baker pants have a strong presence, fusing traditional Japanese colors with American military details.

This time, D' Artisan has created "Indigo Green" by layering indigo dye and bayberry dye. Indigo green is a color created by the layering of two natural dyes: indigo and bayberry. By layering the soft hue of bayberry dye onto the deep blue of indigo, a depth of color that cannot be expressed with a single color is achieved. A color that can never be created in one go. By layering the dye and taking time, a unique expression with a slight greenish tint emerges. Not a uniformly finished color, but an unevenness created by the layering of dyes. All of these elements create the depth that is unique to this indigo green.
