Designed for Bentota Beach Hotel in 1967, the dining chair originally had a high-gloss finish with a Barefoot cotton cushion. Bawa later used it at Triton Hotel in red and green versions. In the re-edition, the seat’s incline has been adjusted for comfort and the wood has a slightly textured finish. The cushion is made with Barefoot’s Jack & Ebony fabric pattern. North American red oak was chosen for sustainability and durability.
