Wabash work shirt featuring a soft dot stripe pattern
A characteristic wabash work shirt with a dot stripe pattern on the original 10oz denim fabric. The white dot pattern gives it a soft appearance. Not only the appearance, but also the details and aging of the Wabash work shirt, you can enjoy the change of facial expression that appears by wearing it repeatedly.
Original 10oz denim fabric woven on an old shuttle loom
We use the original 10oz denim fabric woven on an old shuttle loom. By dyeing it in a special dark color, the color fades sharply and the unique unevenness unique to the old shuttle loom changes over time to a moderately uneven look. The dot discharge printing applied to the denim fabric is repeatedly tested for color and dyeing condition so that the dots do not look too hard and have a natural texture.
Triple stitching with workwear-like details
The main part is sewn by winding with triple stitching of 3 needles. It is stronger than two double stitches and has workwear-like details.
Diamond pattern urea button
The button uses a urea button with a diamond pattern. Urea buttons are resistant to heat and shock and have excellent durability, but they are becoming a rare material in modern times due to the labor involved in production.
Selvedge unique to shuttle looms
The back of the placket uses Mimi (edge part), which can be said to be a proof of weaving with a shuttle loom.
Vintage-like selvedge triangular gusset
Triangular gussets are attached to both sides of the hem.
This detail is also found in vintage clothing and is said to have been added to reinforce the mating parts of the hem. The Flat Head is sewn with sufficient strength, but it has a gusset in the sense of design rather than reinforcement.
