Based on logger boots, a type of work boot originally made for lumberjacks who cut down trees and carried them down the mountain, these boots have a streamlined silhouette that's perfect for everyday wear.

Made from the butt (a horse's rump) of fully vegetable-tanned horsehide, these logger boots boast a rugged finish that makes the most of the leather's natural texture.

By using a half sole and eliminating the steel toe for lightweight construction, these boots feel light even when worn around town and pair well with casual outfits.

Expressive horsehide - Horsebutt

The butt section of the shoe is made from leather with a high fiber density and strong stiffness.The horse butt is tanned with vegetable tannins and then dyed with dyes and pigments, and the surface is finished with paraffin, which increases its luster with each wear. The butt section also features distinctive tiger stripe and blood veins, making the most of the unique look of natural leather. *Patterns may vary from shoe to shoe.

Hook type for easy on and off

A hook is used around the ankle, making it easy to loosen when putting on and taking off.
The shaft height is about 6 inches (heel not included), which is just the right height without being too long, making it easy to put on and take off even when wearing around town.

The use of leather laces gives the boots a sense of volume and ruggedness.

Stitch-down construction for airtightness and comfort

Half sole

The sole, which greatly influences the impression of the boots, features a half sole with a clean look. VIBRAM #700 is used to create a sharp look.
