Super 120's / Washable Brushed Wool Gabardine. It is an original material woven on old-style looms at a historic loom in the Bishu region. This Gabardine fabric is compactly woven from the superfine count, super 120's (17.5 microns) yarn, which has been treated to prevent shrinkage. The touch quality of the yarn is maximized by applying a raised finish to both sides. By Weaving slowly on an old-style loom, the fabric is solid yet flexible and bulky with a unique texture. The fabric has a unique presence if it were an antique, which current fabrics do not have. The tasteful aging of the fabric with use is also something to look forward to.
*The fabric can be washed at home in the delicate mode of a washing machine by putting it in a net and using a neutral detergent, but please do so at your own risk. Please note that we cannot accept any claims for problems caused by washing.
