Description

A sweatshirt fabric made with an uneven #10 yarn spun in the same way as our 17oz “Zero” denim.

Kinari - Natural color: Purposely not bleached or chemically dyed, we’ve preserved the natural ecru color and atmosphere of the organic cotton itself before hand-dying with natural colors. This color is known as ‘kinari’ in Japanese.

Kuromame - Black bean Hand-Dyeing: The place where we grow our organic cotton is called Sasayama and it is also home to local black soybean production. We’ve used the juice of these black beans (which is normally just thrown away) as a natural dye, resulting in a very unique, organic, and eco-friendly color.

Dark Kuri - Chestnut Hand-Dyeing: Along with black soybeans, the Sasayama area is also famous for its own brand of chestnuts called “Tamba” chestnuts. We’ve extracted a dye from the astringent skins of these chestnuts and mixed it up to make a really attractive color, falling somewhere between beige and brown.
