Bawa created the upholstered versions of the Bentota Lounge chair for the first floor guest suite of his Colombo home (No.11, 33rd Lane). The turned cross bars differed between the cane and upholstered versions. The re-edition is true to the original with cotton fabric for the upholstery sourced from Barefoot, Bawa’s original source.
