Model 6500 - By Jens Risom
Designed in 1949, the Magazine Table is a great example of Danish-American designer Jens Risom’s stylish and innovative approach to modern design. The dynamic side table with its iconic feature – the inbuilt shelf – is only finished when it is combined with a printed magazine, book, newspaper or perhaps a drinks card.
Materials:
Three-legged side table. Base and table top in plywood.
• Lacquered Oak, FSC Mix 70%
Specifications:

Mastermade in Denmark
Product Care:
Lacquer is slightly more sensitive than varnish. However, a lacquer sustains a more beautiful patina and you will not be able to see small scratches with the naked eye.

Meet the Designer:
Jens Risom was a true talent and a pivotal player in the Danish Modernism movement, expecially his role introducing a Scandinavian sensibility to the American market. There he pursued a successful career designing an array of pieces which stemmed from functionality, imbued with a New York sense of style and savoir-faire.
