Hans J. Wegner designed 1788 as a counterpart to the Spoke-back Sofa in 1974. With a construction in solid oak and replaceable cushions, the 1788 Chair is both visually elegant and extremely comfortable.
Materials
Easy chair with frame of solid wood. Seat supported by jute webbing. Interchangeable seat and back cushions of HR foam, covered in fabric or leather and finished with buttons. Back cushion attached with leather straps. Available in fabric or leather.
