It is these fundamental and evident elements in which ISSEY MIYAKE carefully strives to establish as the standard for tomorrow. This new master-made standard can only be achieved with assured skills and an accumulated experience. For this exciting project Issey Miyake has partnered with the legendary leading hand-made eyewear manufacturer Kaneko Optical Co. from Sabae, Fukui, Japan. Through this collaboration, the project has evolved and will present the “beauty of use”, bringing zest and zeal to people’s daily lives. Engraved on all ISSEY MIYAKE EYES products is the name “KANEKO OPTICAL”. This thoughtful partnership ensures that the collaboration will be able to achieve the highest levels of quality and design.
